History Vs Poetry
History conceals many a fact very often
And biased too, when it's at sword-point written
To appease the ruler so tries the historian
And writes his feats but hides those things barbarian
In fact, facts hibernate where fear treads
So a distorted past then history spreads
But emotion like the sun forever glows
And in soul's ambience only truth it sows
In a voice so soothing in rhythm and rhyme
Poetry flows like the Ganga for a timeless time
With imageries, metaphors it so touches all hearts
And on its tapestry it forever reveals vital facts.
