Christmas
Amid the whispers of snow while the night reels
Though the weary sun sleeps the earth still thrills
As Isaiah's prophecy proved to be true
Soon the wise men at Bethlehem rallied to bow
The shepherds prayed, the sheep silently watch
And in their hearts they thanked the Lord very much
Since He sent His son to mitigate their suffering and sin
Who served mankind with love as His own kith and kin
A hope glowed like a halo with His humble birth
And in kindness and compassion He bound all on earth
Amid the chill of winter hope glowed like the shining sun
Amid Christmas trees, life's renewed in the new morn
With the magic of words and miracles new
He walked with truth to efface tears and their woe
Though centuries have passed still Jesus lives in our heart
So we forget enmity and hatred and carol together to our joys part.
